HOW TO HOST A BETTER GAME NIGHT?

HOST TO DO

  • Being the host you set the day, time, place. Whether it be a sunday park picnic, girls saturday night in, midweek spa day, or bachelor party.

Send invite 1 day—3 weeks before game night. Depends on your proximity and spontaniety appetite, so give a little heads up to the group. Minimum 2 players but more fun with 4+ Tell them to invite their friends.

  • Remind everyone again night before, then again morning of, then 2h before with instructions on what to bring and how to get in if they don't already know.

  • Ignite the senses and evoke a sense of comfort through mood lighting, cozy seating, and beverages of choice. Tea, tonic, wine—BYOB comforts to share.

See links for recipes and ambiance on how to set the vibe on our instagram.

  • First rule to play, everyone must honor this as a safe space. This game is a conversation, intended to prompt dialogue to learn how to better support our friends. We believe emotional intelligence is learned through play.

Open and honest vulnerability requires support. Which means that we must make the storyteller feel heard, seen and accepted. Its vital for growth.

What is said in the game, is not judged.

  • Healing starts with acceptance through being open and honest. We are not meant to live this life alone—life is meant to be shared so learn from each other.
